Clear vision leads to successful expansion

Our client is an owner managed Double Glazing Unit manufacturing company.

Seeking to again expand business operations, (the business had originally begun life as an idea developed in a garden shed), but unclear as to how to obtain the finance needed, he asked for our advice.

Working closely with him we were able to interpret his vision, produce detailed business plans and open up discussions with grant providers and financiers.

Following several meetings and lengthy negotiations on his behalf, our client was delighted to learn that full backing to his expansion plans had been sanctioned.

A mixture of government grants, additional equity and affordable structured loan finance was obtained. Over £1m was made available with no additional personal financial input needed from the owner.

Results: Substantial investment in new machinery now made, premises fully revamped and expanded, ten local jobs created and business turnover has doubled.
